If you have an active interest in martial arts or you find yourself just naturally drawn to the blade, then this is the School for you. Our qualified instructors will teach you the Japanese art of swordsmanship (Kenjutsu/Iaido) that was made famous by the Samurai warriors of Japan. Training in the art includes learning to draw the blade safely and effectively, cutting and blocking techniques, tameshigiri (cutting targets of rice straw) and of course the higher order of skill, combative application and theory. In addition, practical application of sword techniques and concepts as they relate to other martial arts are explored
